We are excited to share the job flyer for our high-school manufacturing internship. The role will be offered at Forest Grove sawmill and is a great role for recent high school graduates. Individuals do need to be 18 years old by their start date.
The goal of the internship is to develop skills and business acumen, while preparing the individual to move into other roles in the company. Students are welcome to apply for our general Production Worker position as well, but this 3-month rotational role will give them wider experience and exposure across the mill and is aim at high school graduates who are looking to grow a career at Stimson but might not have significant work experience. We see this job as a way to help students transition from high school to full-time roles at the company.
Through a partnership with Linguava, Northwest Regional Education Service District is connecting students in our region (Clatsop, Columbia, Tillamook, Washington counties) to high-demand careers in their communities. Medical interpreters make a real difference by ensuring patients truly understand their care, giving them clarity, dignity, and a voice in moments when it matters most.
