Greetings from the Oregon Department of Transportation,
Do you know graduating seniors or recent graduates interested in a career in transportation maintenance? ODOT’s High School to Highway (H2H) program is hiring trainees across Oregon! Applications open April 7 and close April 24.
What is H2H?
H2H is designed to introduce upcoming and recent high school and alternative school graduates to state government careers in roadway maintenance and construction. Participants will:
Work on a dedicated maintenance crew to repair and preserve roadways, bridges, and facilities.
Gain hands-on experience while helping keep Oregon’s roads safe.
Work outdoors as part of a team, learning alongside experienced mentors.
This full-time training program is set to begin in July 2025 with a starting salary of $3,856 per month—which increases after six months!
Don’t wait! Applications are only open from April 7 to April 24. Visit www.ODOTJobs.com and search for "H2H" to apply.
I have attached flyers with more details—please feel free to share them with students and recent graduates. If they have any questions about the application process, they can reach out via email, call, or text (contact information is on the flyer).
