If you are interested in auditioning for the NC Honors Chorus, please look at the information below (a max of 10 students are allowed to audition). The piece for this year's audition is titled "Leap Free of the Cage" by Connor Koppin (Performance Example). The FHS Choral Department will pay for actual copies of the music that you can use for your audition. However, rehearsal tracks for the piece have been released and a link is down below. The Audition will be on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at Highland Presbyterian Church in Fayetteville, NC. More information about specific audition times and payment due dates will be provided once school starts back. (NOTE: You must be in the Advanced Choir in order to participate.)

Please read through all of this information carefully. The numbers provided are not exact. However, it will give you an idea of how much it will cost to attend the NC Honors Chorus this year!

Audition Fee: $25

Registration Fee: $25

T-Shirt Fee (optional): $17

Hotel Costs: $200 - $400

Food Costs: $25 - $50

Approx. Total Cost of Trip: $300 - $500

To keep the costs down for this trip, I do not plan to hire a bus driver from FHS to transport the students. If I were to hire a bus driver, the total cost per student would have increased an additional $400 to $500. Because of this, parents will be REQUIRED to transport their student to and from their hotel and the rehearsal/performance space! There are close hotels that are a 5-10 minute WALK to the rehearsal space/performance space. However, more hotels that could be cheaper can be found within a 5-10 minute DRIVE.
