Council on International Educational Exchange
Mission Description: CIEE is a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to global education through high school study abroad programs. These programs empower students to develop intercultural skills, build confidence, and prepare for college through immersive international experiences that last anywhere from three weeks to a full academic year. Since 1947, CIEE has supported over 20,000 students in studying abroad and awarded more than $60 million in scholarships, while also creating opportunities for educators to travel, collaborate, and bring global perspectives back to their classrooms.
