What is the Global Action Showcase?

The Global Action Showcase (formerly the Global Classroom Project Showcase) is a premier collaborative initiative between the Global Classroom Project in Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) and the Global Leaders of Fairfax County.

This showcase celebrates student learning, leadership, and tangible actions aimed at solving the world’s most pressing challenges. By centering their work around the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, students develop innovative solutions that create a ripple effect across our local, national, and global communities.

Why It Matters

The showcase is more than just a presentation of projects; it is a direct reflection of the FCPS Mission and Strategic Plan. These opportunities provide real-world context for the Portrait of a Graduate attributes, specifically empowering students to become:
