14th UNA-USA Youth Observer to the United Nations
Jarrett James Lash serves as the 14th United Nations Association of the United States of America Youth Observer to the United Nations, where he leads a national listening tour to elevate youth perspectives on global challenges and connect them to the work of the United Nations.
He previously served as Lead Ambassador for a Sustainable Future with the United Nations Association of the United States of America and co-organized the inaugural Sustainable Communities Summit, bringing together stakeholders from across the country to discuss the future of cities and sustainable development.
Professionally, Jarrett is the Township Planner for Upper Merion Township, Pennsylvania, where he leads long-range planning and land development. He holds a B.A. in Global Liberal Studies from New York University, and is the son of a former UN Peacekeeper and a proud product of Virginia public schools.
