At THURMONT MIDDLE SCHOOL, our mission is to provide a supportive environment where all students will succeed in learning the academic, physical and social skills needed to become productive, responsible members of society.

"A school that values excellence and prepares students to achieve their potential," continues to be our focus. To ensure success for all students, our program is supported by weekly tutoring, mentoring, school support counseling and a full range of special education services. In partnership with students, parents and the community, the teachers and staff of Thurmont Middle School are dedicated to fulfilling our motto: "Every Child, Every Day"
