School Counselors... Who We Are and What We Do
About me
I am so excited to be your School Counselor! I received my undergraduate degree in Youth Ministry from the University of Valley Forge and my masters in School Counseling from Messiah University. In addition, I also have my Diversity and Inclusion Specialist Certificate from the American School Counselors Association. I have been married for 15 years and have lived in Maryland for 14 years. Some of my favorite things to do are traveling to the mountains and beach, trying new restaurants and photographing nature.
About me
I am so excited to be back at Carroll Manor this year! It Is especially exciting to be one of the the school counselors here. I received a B.S. In Elementary Education and a B.A. In Psychology from Salisbury State University. After many years of teaching Kindergarten-5th grade In Montgomery County, MD, National City, CA, and Frederick County, MD I received my Master's Degree In School Counseling from McDaniel College. In addition to teaching, I have 1 year of experience as a Behavioral Support Specialist, and 1 year of experience as a school counselor at other schools In Frederick County. I am married, and we have 3 children and 2 dogs. Spending time with family and friends, music, and art are my passions outside of school.
