Students took a look at the different types of shapes used in the artwork, "The Tree of Life" by Gustav Klimt.  We then created our own abstract tree drawing on  black velvet paper using metallic markers and crayons.  Geometric shapes were used to decorate the inside of the tree then the tree was brought to life with organic shapes around the outside!
