Third grade students learned fun facts about the Betta Fish.  We reviewed the warm and cool color families in order to draw a Betta Fish with beautiful Sharpie details.  Students added a bubble nest background by creating blown bubble prints.  

Students learned about the abstract artist Wassily Kandinsky.  They used his artwork as an inspiration to create an abstract tree painting.  Students worked with directional lines to create the grid background.
