Students reviewed the warm and cool color families in order to create a Sunset painting.  We then discussed shapes and cut 

First grade students learned about the 8 main types of line.  We then drew all 8 lines and traced with black oil pastel.  Students painted in between each line type with a different color.  Fringe was added to the bottom of the painting and it was glued together to become a wind sock.
