General Summary of the Unit:
This unit introduces students to the fundamentals of coding in Python using Carnegie Mellon's CS Academy platform. Students will explore various basic programming concepts and graphical elements through interactive lessons. They will practice their skills by completing challenge exercises and culminate the unit by designing and implementing their own creative project.
Skills Students Need or will Develop:
To understand the basics of Python programming.
To learn how to create and manipulate graphical elements such as shapes, colors, and labels.
