Students and staff will follow visual cues including signage, floor and wall decals, and colored tape indicating physical distancing parameters, and directing traffic flow through building entrances, exits and other common areas.
For Common Area Usage: Teachers will first call the location and confirm availability prior to sending students to the following areas: Health Room, Guidance Office, Front Office, and Media Center. Following this protocol will confirm staff availability and minimize student interactions in confined spaces
Everyone is required properly wear face coverings during movement around the building and encourage physical distancing to the greatest extent possible.
Hallways will be designated as two-way throughout the building. Students will be required to stay to the right and away from the center at all times.
Students will not be using lockers so they should proceed from class to class based on their schedule. The hallways will not be a place for students to congregate.
Maximum capacities have been posted for restrooms. The leaving classroom procedures are as follows:
During class, only one student will be permitted to leave the classroom at a time.
Teachers will keep daily records of when a student leaves the classroom using an electronic log the student will complete before exiting the classroom. This measure and information is important as we must monitor and track restroom use and class departures to assist in contact tracing during this pandemic.
