Official FCPS Guidelines for Live Teaching and Recording of Classes on Video
Linked below are a guidelines document on live teaching and recording as well as a best practices document for using video in virtual class meetings. While these documents are not intended to answer every “what if” question, they do address the specifics of what can be done. The bottom line is that live teaching and in most cases recording and posting of video is NOT a FERPA violation. Please review the documents carefully.
