Communication with Students & Families

There are several tools available that will help staff maintain privacy and still allow them to communicate with families. The documents linked below will provide guidance for how to hide your caller ID, use Google Hangouts to place calls, use Remind for text messaging and how to check your school voicemail for messages. Google Voice is another option, but due to Google restrictions, it is not available for free using your FCPS account. If you wish to use Google Voice to set up an alternate phone number, you will need to do that with a personal Google account. We recommend the options below.
