7th graders at Leestown Middle complete the Hopper Race
The mission of the Office of Instructional Technology is to train and support teachers and staff in developing interactive and engaging learning experiences for students. To achieve this mission, we support effective models of blended learning, STEM and coding experiences, and digital literacy tools and media.
We are promoting and training our teachers on the LEGO Learning System in many of our schools as the STEAM solutions provide hands-on, skills-based, and curriculum-supported opportunities for our students.
Incorporating LEGO Education lessons into your curriculum means you will have our new KY Technology Standards covered! Solution lessons include NGSS, Common Core, CSTA and ISTE standards.
LEGO has recently retired the EV3 Mindstorms and the WeDo 2.0 kits. Below is information about the four solutions included in the LEGO Learning System.
