T.S.- I love defenses because they help me analyze my past work to see how I can do better in the future. Defenses also motivate me to continue working hard by looking back to see how far I have come. Defenses are not just an examination of our past experiences, they help us develop our presentation and data analysis skills. Even though you think that doing presentations is useless and a waste of time, you will think otherwise if you put in the effort to help your future self. Overall defenses are an extremely useful tool that help us analyze and look back upon ourselves and our work, while helping us develop practical skills.
