This list does not include every tool available on the Internet; these are the "go-to" tools that the instructional technology coaches and library media specialists promote for classroom use because of ease of use, product features, website stability, and cost.

Dotstorming is a real-time group brainstorming and decision making app. Dotstorming takes the process of dot voting online to allow groups of people to collaborate on a topic.
Flipsnack is a tool that takes PDF documents and combines them into online flipping books.
Kami is a PDF annotation tool that works in Google Chrome (as an extension). Users can highlight, type on, and mark up PDFs and save the PDFs to their Google Drive for sharing with teachers via email or Google Classroom.

Don’t waste time competing with cell phones. Phones are designed to be addictive and they’re constantly fighting for your students’ attention. Teachers should be able to focus on teaching without worrying about phones. Keep students engaged. Help students feel good about ignoring their phones and focusing their full attention on what’s going on in the classroom. Get a more connected campus and classroom. The classroom should be a space where students practice their interpersonal skills. Give them an excuse to put down the phone and actually talk to each other.
Turnitin is a plagiarism prevention and online grading tool that Fargo Public Schools subscribes to. It can be used as a teaching tool to help students understand plagiarism, a peer review tool, a grammar checker, and an online grading tool for teachers.
