This list does not include every tool available on the Internet; these are the "go-to" tools that the instructional technology coaches and library media specialists promote for classroom use because of ease of use, product features, website stability, and cost.

Diigo is two services in one -- it is a research and collaborative research tool on the one hand, and a knowledge-sharing community and social content site on the other.
Users can upload, save, sort, and manage images—known as pins—and other media content (e.g., videos and images) through collections known as pinboards.
