Game Notes

The Franklin & Marshall women's soccer team (5-1-3, 2-1-1 CC), a team receiving votes in the national poll, plays two Centennial Conference (CC) matches this week. The Diplomats hit the road to battle Ursinus (4-3-3, 0-1-2 CC) Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. before returning to Tylus Field to host Muhlenberg (2-6-2, 0-4 CC). 

Last Week

The Diplomats played to two ties last week. F&M and Penn State Harrisburg finished in a 2-2 draw before Franklin & Marshall and McDaniel ended its match scoreless. Alison Francis recorded two assists in the game against the Lions to be named Centennial Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week. Eileen Harvey and Lillian Williams each recorded goals in the match against PSU.

Last Time vs. Ursinus

Franklin & Marshall beat Ursinus 2-1 Senior Night last season. Alison Francis scored the opening goal in the fourth minute on a feed from Sophie Koziol. Kate Boujoukos cushioned the Diplomats lead in the 43rd minute on a header off a corner kick. Dahlia Pepe sent a perfect cross into the box that Boujokos headed into the open part of the net for her first career score. F&M totaled 20 shots with 11 on target in the match. Last Time vs. Muhlenberg

F&M shutout Muhlenberg, 4-0, in last season's matchup. Francis scored two goals in the win. Lainie Anderson '23 and Delaney Bessel '23 also found the back of the net in the victory. F&M outshot the Mules 22-8 in the victory. Emma Nolan made four saves to keep the Mules off the scoreboard. Read the full recap here. 

Ursinus Team Preview

Ursinus has yet to win a conference game this season with a record of 0-1-2 against CC teams. Grace Senese holds the team-lead in goals with four, while Izzy Allocco leads the Bears in assists with three. Goalkeeper Maddie Nau sports a 1.05 goals-against average with a save percentage of 86.8 percent. 

Muhlenberg Team Preview

Before traveling to Lancaster on Saturday, the Mules hit the road to play Haverford on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. Anna May leads the team in points (four) with one goal and two assists this season. Goalkeeper Sara Pecorelli holds a 2.06 goals-against average and a save percentage of 68.5 percent.
