The Franklin & Marshall women's soccer team (2-0) looks to continue its hot start as it plays host to Washington and Lee (2-0) in a non-conference contest Saturday at noon. In addition, F&M will honor the team's eight seniors during a pregame Senior Day ceremony.
Last Week
The Diplomats kicked off the 2023 season winning their first two games of the fall. F&M defeated York (Pa.), 2-1, before shutting out Elizabethtown, 3-0.
In the win against York, Mikaela Timmermans got the scoring started early on a goal in the fifth minute to give F&M the early advantage. After the Spartans scored the equalizer in the sixth minute, Lillian Williams buried the game-winner in the eleventh minute to give F&M its first win of the year. Read the full recap here.
Franklin & Marshall hosted its home opener Tuesday night against Elizabethtown - shutting out the Blue Jays, 3-0. Kate Boujoukos broke open the scoring in the 39th minute off an assist from Julianna Sirico and Zoe Warne. Bri Skidmore tallied the first goal after the halftime break as she scored on a pass from Anna Ellwood to add insurance onto the F&M lead. Later in the game, Lillian Williams connected with Elizabeth Jones in front of the ETown net to record F&M's third goal of the match. Read the full recap here.

Washington & Lee Team Preview
W&L began the 2023 fall with wins against Stevens, 5-0, and Pugent Sound, 3-2. Cameron Grainger leads the Generals in points with five (two goals and one assist). Sam Berish is tied with Grainger for the team-lead in goals with two. Goalkeeper Sydney Smith has two wins in net this season, making eight saves and allowing two goals.
