Game Notes

The Franklin & Marshall volleyball team (11-6, 4-0 CC) looks to continue rolling as they play two Centennial Conference matches this week. F&M plays Dickinson (9-6, 3-2 CC) at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Mayser Center. The Diplomats then travel to play Swarthmore (10-7, 3-1 CC) on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.

Last Week

F&M began the week with a 3-0 win against Haverford Wednesday evening. Gianna Mangiamele and Coco Shultz both tallied 10 kills each. Sydney Levins totaled nine kills with a .350 hitting percentage. Liah Perez had a game-high 20 assists in the victory. Read the recap here.

The Diplomats continued their hot streak coming into Saturday afternoon's match against Washington College, as F&M pulled off another 3-0 sweep. The win was the sixth consecutive sweep for the Diplomats. Mangiamele and Levins combined for 19 of F&M's 38 kills in the match. The Diplomats had a game-high .423 hitting percentage in the third set of the contest. Read the recap here.

Last Time

F&M downed Dickinson in five sets during the 2021 season. Allison Franke '21 had a game-high 20 kills with a .400 hitting percentage in the win. Annmarie Earley tallied 33 assists in the match. The Diplomats totaled 10 block assists in the victory. Read the recap here.

Dickinson has not beaten F&M since its 3-2 win during the 2007 season.

Last season, Swarthmore beat F&M in a five-set thriller. Franke '21 and Levins combined for 28 kills. Earley racked up 40 assists in the contest. F&M had 30 block assists in the match. Read the recap here.

The last time F&M beat Swarthmore was in 2019 when the Diplomats pulled away from the Garnet in five sets. Franke '21 tallied 19 kills, while Grace Polisano '21 racked up 10. Franke '21 also had three solo blocks in the win. Grace Maggiore '20 recorded a game-high 31 assists. Read the recap here.

Dickinson Team Preview

The Red Devils have won three of their last four and are coming into Wednesday's match following a 3-0 loss to Haverford last Saturday. Emma Lange has a team-high 3.16 kills per set with a .234 hitting percentage this season. Camille Dofiles sports a team-high 6.68 assists per set. Ann Marie Patterson has the most digs on the team with 157 this fall.

Swarthmore Team Preview

Swarthmore is on a four-game losing streak with their last win coming against Gettysburg on October 1. Along with Gettysburg, Swarthmore has also beaten Muhlenberg and McDaniel in CC matches this season. Kaylee Zhang is second in the conference in points with 242. Dani Pena is currently first in the CC in assists per set, averaging 8.37.
