The Franklin & Marshall women's basketball team (1-3, 0-1 CC) looks to get back in the win column as they travel to Collegeville, Pa. to face Ursinus (2-2, 0-1 CC) Tuesday at 6:00 p.m.
F&M lost a nailbiter to Washington College Saturday afternoon, 53-52. The Diplomats clawed their way back from facing an 18-point deficit halfway through the second quarter to take the lead with 57 seconds remaining in regulation. The Shorewomen made a tough layup right before the buzzer sounded to slip past the Diplomats. Kennedy Wilburn led F&M in points with 14, while pulling in 8 rebounds and swiping three steals. Franklin & Marshall defeated Ursinus twice in 2021-22 as the Diplomats beat UC 54-45 and 67-54 last season. The 67-54 win in late January saw the Diplomats use a 21-point third quarter to surge past the Bears in the game. Natalie Kolb put up 16 points with two three-pointers in the win. Franklin & Marshall shot 50 percent (27-of-54) from the field in the victory. Kolb also swiped three steals in the contest. Read the full recap here.

UC comes into Tuesday's game after dropping its first Centennial Conference game to Swarthmore, 52-39, Saturday afternoon. Forward Chinwe Irondi leads the Bears in scoring, averaging 14 points per game. Guard Natalie Mehl has made nine three-pointers this season to lead the CC in made shots beyond the arc.
