Game Notes

The Franklin & Marshall women's basketball team (10-15, 8-12 CC last season) opens the 2022-23 campaign at home against Mary Washington (18-9 last year) Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. F&M will then host the Terry Greene Tip-Off Tournament where it will face Penn State-Harrisburg (16-9 in 2021-22) on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. Elizabethtown (20-6 last year) will take on Lycoming (6-19 last season) on Sunday. Tip-off for Sunday's contest is still TBA.

Guard

The Diplomats return an experienced group of guards, led by Natalie Kolb who started all 25 games for F&M last season and leading the team in steals (39) and assists (38). Meg Navarro appeared in six games off the bench last season, where she shot 33.3 percent from the field. Hope Schreiber played in 20 games last season, highlighted by a season-high 12 points in her collegiate debut at Penn State Berks last year.

Quinn Galligan appeared in 17 games with 13 starts as a first-year last season, averaging 3.2 points per game while shooting 30 percent from the field. Ally Trebelev played in 24 games with nine starts last year, where she tallied 69 rebounds, 16 steals, 14 assists, and one block. In 2021-22, Leila Walton made eight appearances, totaling seven points, four rebounds, four steals, and two assists in her rookie season.

Hailey Cabanas, Abby Meredith, and Lizzie Neville look to make immediate impacts in their first collegiate season.

Forward

Jaclyn Feit appeared in all 25 games last season, ranking second in the CC in blocked shots (54) and helping the Diplomats lead all of Division III in blocked shots. Kennedy Wilburn also played in all 25 games, while making 24 starts last year. Wilburn averaged 21.5 minutes per game and 6.6 points per game while shooting 37 percent from the field. Molly Flanagan appeared in six games off the bench last season, where she posted a season-high six points on 3-of-5 shooting at Bryn Mawr.

Lauren Rusas will add support to the forward position as she gets set for her rookie campaign.
