College Visits

College Rep Visits to FHS 

During the fall, College Admission Representatives from all over the country and Canada visit Fairport High School. These visits are a wonderful opportunity for students to gather detailed information directly from a college representative. 

This year we are offering in-person visits to FHS. The admission reps are anxious to connect with you, answer your questions and tell you all about the colleges they represent. Often these reps are the same people who will be reading your application. We encourage you to meet with College Reps in the Center for Future Planning (CFP). 

All visits are updated in SchooLinks as they are scheduled. Students MUST sign up to attend these events through their SchooLinks account. You will receive a confirmation email when you register which you should print and have signed by the teacher whose class you will miss to attend the visit. This signed confirmation is your PASS to attend the visit in the CFP.  More detailed notes are in the student registration form you complete when signing up in SchoolLinks.

  Directions

 1.   In SchooLinks Click on School Events at the top of the dashboard homepage. Scroll down to view events.

 2.   Click on title of event to get a description and click on Register if you would like to attend.

      3.   A green registration message appears at the top of the School Events page. You can print this page use the confirmation

            email as your pass.

Key Points to remember:

§  Registration closes one day before the visit

§  You must bring a signed (by your teacher) email confirmation to use as your pass

§  Space is limited to 20 students max
