What Can I do with Microsoft Teams?

  • Microsoft Teams can be used for classroom communication and collaboration.

    • Teachers can share material as well as use Teams for chatting and as exit tickets.

  • Collaborate and present

  • Guest speaker

  • Virtual book club

  • Virtual field trip

How Do I Access Microsoft Teams?

  • Go to www.office.com

  • Click Sign In

  • Your username for students and teachers is your: fpsusername@fairfieldschools.org

  • Your password for students and teachers is your: normal network login

  • Once you are logged in both teachers and students click Teams from the App list.

  • Once inside of Teams - Teachers and Students Select Teams from the left menu and choose the class you are working with.

You must Activate your courses in order for students to see them.

  • Once in the Teams app - Click the Teams icon from the left menu as shown below.

  • Go to the Class you would like to use for your Team

  • At the top it says "Your class isn't visible to students yet. Activate" - Click Activate

  • Students will see your class on their list of classes once they go to Teams in Microsoft.

Within Teams, there are many features:

  • Upload Class Materials

  • Set up Class Materials

  • Chat

  • Upload Videos

  • Give Praise to Students

  • Add Stickers, Giphy Files, and more
