Remember these questions from the video:

• What do I see?

  • • Just notice all the various details. Don't interpret them. Just see them like a list.

• What is the broader history or larger context?

  • • Find out what the background of the image is. The history. Who the people are. Where are they? Why they are there. When is it taken? What is happening?

• How did the artist or photographer want me to see it? Why?

  • • What story is the "author" trying to tell? What does he/she want me to think?
