Always make sure a responsible adult is supervising your child's iPad use. If you are unable to find a supervising adult, then use the Downtime feature in Settings to turn off the iPad during specific hours when you are not around.
If you allow your child to have a social media account, make sure you are the owner of the account and monitor their activity. Know all of the friends that your child has added on any social media account.
Establish boundaries. No iPads/devices allowed in the bedroom. No iPads/devices after a certain hour.
Make friends in real life and spend time in nature each day. Go to Settings App > Screentime to customize how much time they can spend on Entertainment Apps per day.
Reach out to your child's teacher or Mrs. Oshiro loshiro@sacredhearts.org if you'd like more tips!
