Joe Luevano - Instructor of Biological Science

Dual Credit Biology for Early College Program

About me bio - Received Master in Biological Science from University of Texas at El Paso in 2012 and has since worked in both the academic and private sector assisting with research related to cancer and mental health therapeutics with Texas Tech Health Science Center and the Caldwell foundation from 2012-2016. Mr. Luevano has been instructing biology on behalf of EPPC since 2016 and has been with the Faben's district since the fall of 2018.

Course Overview

Course descriptions for Dual Credit General Biology and Pre-AP Biology

Students will investigate biological concepts including the chemical basis of life, cell structure and function, metabolism, reproduction, genetics, evolution, biological diversity and classification, plant structure and function, animal structure and function and ecology.
