In Languages we strive to provide our young people with the skills they need to communicate information about themselves and others; their school experience; the sports and hobbies they are interested in; and about tourist attractions in their surrounding area and cities in other countries. All of these topics develop literacy and transferable skills for life and work while giving our young people the opportunity to explore their cultural awareness.
In Languages we assess the development of essential skills;
Reading for understanding and using a dictionary
Listening for information and when talking with others
Speaking to present and using talking skills in collaborative activities
Writing about themselves and to express opinions
