There are four subjects in the Humanities faculty; History; Geography; Modern Studies; and RMPS. Across these subjects, young people participate in a variety of activities which develop numerous transferable skills. Young people are assessed on the essential skills of Describing and Explaining, empowering them with the tools to engage effectively with the issues in the world around them. Each department also develops, and assesses, subject specific skills such as map reading in Geography and objectivity in Modern Studies. These skills allow young people to develop their ability to analyse different forms of data.
