Get involved! Begin to develop a list “brag sheet” that keeps track of all awards/honors you receive, sports, activities, clubs, programs, or community service you participate in. (add to this list all four years)
Know the difference between graduation requirements and A-G requirements. Are you on the right track?
What’s your 5-year plan? Have a general idea of whether you plan to attend a 4-year university, community college, or a trade/vocational school.
Know yourself- your likes and dislikes. What kinds of career options interest you?
Get organized, practice good study habits, and focus on your grades! This year’s grades determine next years’ classes…Every year counts!
Begin working on community service hours. Do not procrastinate. 40 hours are due in the middle of your senior year. 10 per year is a great idea to stay on track.
