Cognitive Rehabilitation is recommended as an intervention in the NICE Guidelines and in the Royal College of Psychiatrists Memory Services National Accreditation Programme

Dementia: assessment, management and support for people living with dementia and their carers

The NICE Guideline recommends that Cognitive Rehabilitation is considered as an intervention for promoting cognition, independence and wellbeing in people living with mild to moderate dementia.

Royal College of Psychiatrists Memory Services National Accreditation Programme (MSNAP)

Cognitive Rehabilitation is included in the Standard for accredited memory services, as one of the psychosocial interventions that should be offered to people with dementia.
