What is Epic?
Epic is a digital library resource that supports independent readers in the elementary classroom. Teachers can create and assign collections of books based on subject, F&P reading level, and curriculum-based titles to support students and the content being taught in class.
Getting Started
Connect Your Class in Just a Few Steps...
Log into Epic and sign in with your EPS Google Account.
Enter your teacher dashboard by selecting your teacher avatar.
Click on the Import Google Classroom button at the top of your dashboard.
Once you are logged into your Google account, select the course you would like to import, then select the student profiles you would like to import. Only student names will be imported.
(Note: PIN code and parent email are optional)

Teachers can create a collection of books and/or learning videos. See pages three & four. ------->
Collections enable you to create reading lists that meet your students’ specific academic needs and interests. You can place videos and books into a Collection and then assign it to individuals, small groups, or your whole class
Helpful Tips and FAQs
Set Your Class Reading Level System to F&P (Fountas and Pinnell).
Click on your teacher avatar in the top-right corner.
Click the dropdown menu under Reading Level System and select F&P.
You can search by reading level by entering a keyword in the search box, from any profile. The system will provide the results with book titles based on the keyword or topic but you will also have the option to refine your selection by clicking on the "Reading Level" button.
