In 2020 all existing partners will need to sign an updated Partnership Contract. This new contract will require you to commit to a the Evaneos Code of Conduct. See the new contract language below:
Paragraph 2. Code of Conduct
The DMC commits to uphold the values and comply with the rules set out in The Evaneos Code of Conduct attached to this contract.
1. You offer exceptional service and unique value.2. You are an honest company that offers fair work.3. You treat people ethically and promote equality.4. You support local communities.5. You protect culture and the environment.
The Code represents the basic good-faith values that Evaneos holds to be essential for all local partners; including a commitment to providing high-quality experiences for travellers while respecting local places, communities, and the environment.
It is expressly agreed between the Parties that the DMC must commit and adhere to The Evaneos Code of Conduct.
The DMC will receive a score evaluating their performance with respect to The Code of Conduct. This score will be calculated by Evaneos based on traveller feedback collected post-trip. The DMC is expected to maintain an average score above a set minimum.
Evaneos may also require the DMC to participate in specific trainings and/or offer additional proof of compliance with respect to the Code of Conduct.
Any insufficient score or non-compliance with the Code of Conduct constitutes a breach of contract that may result in the termination of the partnership.
