Director of Music

Kathleen Barlow

Mrs. Barlow came to Rincon in 2020 as the new Director of Music. Previously, she taught Elementary Music for EUSD at sites including Rose, Glen View, Oak Hill, Orange Glen and Central Elementary Schools, as well as Quantum Academy. She brings with her 7 years of teaching experience and is excited to start creating music with the students at Rincon!

Mrs. Barlow received her Bachelors Degree in Music Education from San Diego State University in 2011. She was a member of the SDSU Marching Aztecs and still participates with the band when she can. She also received her California Teaching Credential at SDSU in 2013.

Family

Mrs. Barlow and her husband live in Escondido with their 2 dogs, Shotzi and Curly.
