3. Storyboard and Dress rehearsal = camera shots with their iPad- teacher MUST review shots and approve to be assigned a filming date.
4. Props - ALL props, costumes and items that will be needed for the shots need to be approved and then brought in at least two days before filming.
FILMING DATE AND TIME ASSIGNED that you will work with the team filming
Students will be given a date and time they will be filming. All films are a little different and have different requirements.
Please make sure of the following:
1. Find out from the teacher what time would be ok for the student's to film (filming usually spans over lunch and a bit beyond like into SSR.) Some teachers choose a block of time that is easily made up by the students.)
2. If student's or you are unavailable during school time, you can arrange to meet them after school. If an after school time is needed, please make sure all parents are aware by sending out a quick email so they know when to pick up their student.
3. If teacher/mentors are unable to be available during school time or after school, please contact James Staton or Heather Hultgren to be onsite to assist.
4. Email any enrichment teachers, or outside interviewees to arrange the date and times for any supervision or interview coordination needed.
5. You are welcome to "check out" video the silver tier video cameras to a student's parent so that they may film scenes at home. Please make sure the parent knows when the camera needs to be returned by so that other students have access as well.
6. Teachers/Mentors are welcome to coordinate with other teachers or staff to supervise a film team filming. (Ex. Footage includes the librarian/library and they are supervising.)
7. If filming after school, parent volunteers are also an option for assisting students filming.
