NOTE TO STUDENTS:
Before getting back to workingon your scripts, overviews and writing today, please view the below films to gain a better understanding of how and why to film in specific styles.

CAMERA TIPS
Camera set to manual, not auto
Frame Rate: 24 frames per second (fps)
Shutter Speed: 1/48th of a second or 1/50th = 180th Rule
ISO (sensitivity to light):Daylight 100-200. Outside = ISO 800
Dynamic Range: Don't expose for shadows. Use stops.
Picture Styles: Shoot flat, not fully saturated
Focus: Don't use auto focus
Aspect Ratio: 16:9
Depth of Field: Blurred out background. (adjust the aperture)
Audio should be about 3 feet from the actor.
When filming have the sun behind the actor, not the actor facing the sun. (No sun in the eyes). Called Backlighting.
Don't film someone with a wall behind them unless it is a green screen.
USE CLOSE UPS.
