" I took the floral classes, they were really fun and easy. I learned a lot of basic skills, especially the identifying of the different flowers, and tools. In the floral team I enjoyed making bouquets and corsages. In the beginning it was quite hard to make the floral designs, but I now feel confident with my skills".

" I have been a part of the floral team for two years now, I am the floral captain, and my favorite thing about floral has been learning how to do the arrangements and figuring out the best way to help our team grow and become better so we can place highly at our competitions. My goal has been for our team to place 1st. I’ve enjoyed being able to stay late because of floral even though I am usually burnt out by the end of our practices due to how difficult some arrangements are especially since I want to perfect them. I have my first floral certification and plan on taking the class next year to get my second certification."
