The minimum eligibility requirements for all scholarships are as follows:                                    

1. Applicant must be a member, in good standing, with the California Association FFA.

2. Applicant must pursue higher education with a declared major in Agriculture.

3. Must not have previously received a State FFA Scholarship.

4. Applicant must hold the State FFA Degree.

5. Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 2.0

6. Applicant must be a high school senior or high school graduate.

7. Current State FFA Officers are not eligible to apply. Former State FFA Officers may only apply for the Jerry T. Davis Memorial Scholarship.

The Southern Region Jaimie Lynn Pettey Scholarship application is available. Due date for the application is December 15th. 

To be eligible for a SOUTHERN REGION FFA Scholarship the applicant must:

1. Hold the State FFA Degree

2. Must be a graduating senior. 

3. Attend a university, college, or trade school (continuing your formal education)

4. Be an active member of the Southern Region FFA Chapter

• be a high school senior or college freshman, sophomore, or junior.

• be less than 23 years of age at the time of submitting the application.

• plan to attend post-secondary or trade school in the U.S.

• be a full-time student who is actively attending classes.

This senior scholarship is for Escondido High School students currently enrolled in the agriculture program.  Scholarship money must be used for post high school education.  Applicant must have been enrolled in the Escondido High School Agriculture program during their high school career.  An essay and 3 letters of recommendation are required. Applicant must show proof of college enrollment or trade school to receive awarded scholarship funds!
