Our Mission
We want to engage the community in courageous conversations regarding race by helping create and facilitate spaces. We aim to be specific and intentional, hoping that those who partake in workshops take what they gain from the space and use it in everyday life. We want to not only start the conversation but to keep it going.

What it is?
The Equity Workshops committee creates workshops rooted in discussing and understanding racial equity. The workshops are personalized for the group engaging in the workshop. Groups who have engaged in workshops in the past include, school sports teams, the Evanstonian, Emerge, Junior Leadership classes and more. The purpose of each workshop varies based on the group it is specialized for, however a common effort to engage in Courageous Conversations about race is present at each.
