Annual Main Show

We host three shows in one weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) at the end of February. These shows consist of both student and professional dance pieces. Each show features a special performance by our Dynamite Dancers, ETHS Staff, Baseball program, and/or our EDC Parents/Guardians.

Wildkit Dance Youth Workshops

We host two annual Wildkit Dance Workshops (Winter and Spring) each year. Current ETHS Dance Company members organize, host, and instruct numerous dance workshops (Contemporary Jazz, Hip Hop, Little Bitty Dancers, and EDC Prep). Registered participants, ranging from pre-k to 8th grade, will participate in dance lessons/skills, learn a routine, and perform after the workshop for both family and friends. Registration opens approximately one month before the event and will close either by a scheduled date or workshop capacity. All dancers will receive a prop or gift, and a workshop t-shirt.

Student Dance Showcases

We host and perform in two annual in-school Dance Showcases (Winter and Spring) each year. Performers are enrolled in Dance Performance, Elite Dance Training, Global Dance, and Interactive Physical Education. We perform these pieces during both scheduled lunch blocks and donate all proceeds to our Outreach Project that year.

Illinois High School Dance Festival 

We participate in the annual IL High School Dance Festival (IHSDF) in the fall. We audition and may be selected for the IHSDF Student Choreography State Showcase held in the spring each year. We have hosted both of these events numerous times at Evanston Township High School.
