ETHS Dance Company

ETHS Dance Company (EDC), formerly known as ESANDE, was established in 1965. ETHS Dance Company is a year-round extra-curricular dance ensemble that features both student and professional choreography. EDC performs in and hosts multiple performances and events throughout the year such as the annual Wildkit Dance Workshop for dancers (ages pre-k through eighth grade) in December and March. We also host two annual Dance Showcases in December and April, in collaboration with the Dance PE classes at ETHS. Our main show takes place at the end of February. This recital includes many genres of dance such as Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Musical Theater, Tap and more. EDC dancers have been selected numerous times to perform in the Student Choreography State Showcase associated with the Illinois High School Dance Festival. ETHS Dance Company collaborates with a variety of programs at ETHS and provides meaningful student-organized experiences throughout the year.
