Best beach games

During the visit to the island of Zlarin, the students participated in a variety of beach games and outdoor activities designed and prepared by their teachers. The games encouraged teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and active participation while allowing students to enjoy the natural coastal environment. Through these activities, students had the opportunity to learn, cooperate with their peers, and spend quality time outdoors in a fun and engaging way.

After trying all the games, the students discussed their experiences, shared their opinions, and reflected on the activities they had enjoyed the most. They then voted for their favourite game, explaining the reasons for their choice. This activity not only helped students develop their decision-making and communication skills but also provided valuable feedback for teachers regarding the most engaging and effective learning activities.

The beach games the students played are:

Stone Skimming

Players take turns throwing flat stones across the water. The winner is the player whose stone skips the greatest number of times on the surface.

Musical Towels

Towels are placed on the beach in a circle. While music is playing, players move around the towels. When the music stops, everyone must stand on a towel. After each round, one towel is removed until only one winner remains.

Stone Tower

Players work individually or in teams to build the tallest free-standing tower using stones found on the beach. The tower must remain standing for a set amount of time to count.

Sand Pictionary

One player draws a word, object, animal, or sea-related item in the sand while the others try to guess what it is. The player or team that guesses correctly earns a point.
