Erasmus+ project See Your SEA Benefits!
By implementing this two-year Erasmus+ project in our schools, we want to influence changes in school curricula throughout the EU, with the aim of responding to the needs of young people. Mindfulness activities, self-care and care for the nature that surrounds us need to be part of the school curriculum. This Erasmus+ project will give students strategies for mental relaxation but also ways of living by the seas and oceans with the aim of a sustainable lifestyle.
Erasmus+ project activities refer to the 3 main following types of activities: mental health and physical health activities and activities for sustainable development of seas and oceans. Through these types of most important project activities, several sub-activities are connected: activities to introduce protected marine areas of the EU, self-help activities related to the sea, activities of active citizenship - participation in beach cleaning and proposals for preservation of marine biomes.
The most important tangible project result is a Handbook with LS on the topic of mental and physical health of young people using the immediate natural environment - in our case, the sea. Among the results, there will be a website and an eTwinning project. There will also be a digital board game related to knowledge and preservation of the sea and mind. Of the intangible results, the most important is the development of soft skills and self-help skills in order to better cope with the stress.
