I am so excited to be your teacher this year!
A little about myself: I was born and raised in Walla Walla, WA. I am the oldest of 3 sisters. After I graduated high school in 1996, I attended Walla Walla Community College, I was on the basketball team in which I received MVP all-league honors. I graduated from WWCC in 1998 with my associate of arts degree. From there, I received a full ride basketball scholarship to play for the University of Alaska Fairbanks. I played basketball for the lady Nanooks (1998-200) and graduated in 2001 with my Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and History.
I met my husband Frank while attending college in Alaska, Frank and I have 2 daughters, Carsen and Ruby. We lived in Fairbanks, AK until 2018 then moved our family to Nevada to be closer to family. We now reside in Smith Valley. Our 2 daughters are both attending college, Carsen attends Walla Walla Community College and Ruby attends Lassen College where she is on the volleyball team.
I am excited to also be coaching the CHS girls' volleyball and basketball teams. In my spare time I enjoy camping, fishing and hunting with my family. I also enjoy playing with my 2 dogs, Molly and Letti and talking to my 7 chickens. You can also find me reading and drinking coffee in the early morning hours.
