Ways for Parents to Get Involved at Yerba Buena High School:
The school site council (SSC) is an advisory board comprised of parents, administrators, staff and students. SSC advices administration on the state of the school, services that need attention and advises on budgetary decisions.
The English Language Advisory (ELAC) Committee is a body that brings concerns of all students, especially those of English Language Learners to administrators.
Coffee with the Principals is a once a month opportunity for parents and guardians to meet with the Principals, get informed of what is happening at school and discuss their concerns or ideas.
Parent engagement meetings inform parents and students on high school, college and career options. Parent meetings will be targeted by grade level.
