Crafts class (sometimes called Studio Crafts or Crafts 1-3):
This is a visual arts elective offered to high school students (usually grades 10–12) where you learn the fundamentals of art and design through working with different materials and techniques. Students make projects using things like clay, jewelry, fiber arts, stained glass, wood, printmaking, leather, and other craft media. The class also includes learning about the cultural and historical background of the crafts and helps students grow their creativity and artistic skills. It can count toward fine arts graduation requirements and builds both technical ability and creative expression.
