Professional Learning Academies (PLAs) meet once each semester to provide job-alike staff opportunities to network and learn together from NDE and ESU specialists. Topics generally include standards updates, curriculum revision, instructional shifts, instructional strategies and ideas to strengthen Tier 1 instruction.
