Art and Coloring can be an amazing mental health tool/coping strategy! Any projects that can be completed in a short amount of time help us with a sense of accomplishment! Coloring/Art can help us take control of our thoughts, gives us some time to process things that have been happening in our lives, and it can be a chance for us to let go of whatever is bothering us in that moment. Creativity also has a positive effect on the brain, it can be meditative! It is also an opportunity for us (as adults) to do an activity with (or at least parallel to) our little ones.
